Carter G. Leadership Lecture Series

The Carter G. Leadership Lecture Series is hosted by Green Run High School’s Golden Fold Mentorship Program. The February 27th  event entitled Lessons from History, connects with Black History Month, will host three captivating speakers who will illustrate lessons learned from their personal lives and the history that has impacted their lives. Our speakers include Panama born Robert Jamison (VBCPS) who discusses struggles experienced in his country, life in America, and his personal struggles to achieve success. Robert’s message is followed by Rev. Fred Showers, whose life was impacted by America’s Civil Right Struggle and his calling to serve people. Our final speaker is Dr. Maurice Carter from Longwood University’s Call Me Mister program helps minority males to become educational leaders. for more information.
