Scout of the Year Program is open to anyone who makes the following awards this year:  Eagle Scout, Girl Scout Gold Award, Venture Summit Award recipients and/or Sea Scout Quartermasters who have risen above their peers.  Applicants must be registered in their troop, be at least 15 years of age, demonstrated exemplary Citizenship in school, Scouting and community. The brochure

explains all the documentation necessary to be submitted.  The top prize for National is $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place and $1,000 for third place.  The deadline again to the local post is March 1, 2018.
